I bought this laptop as my last mobile CAD workhorse (I'm a technician). I did a lot of research on around $1,000 laptops that were also available on Amazon. There are several configurations of this laptop on Revain, this is the entry-level RTX. So far I have been blown away by the build quality and performance of this Helios 300. ACER has been my go-to choice for solid computing for a while. Let's get down to business: PROS: X2 M.2 storage slots PLUS SATA bay for even more RGB zones keyboard (and great feel for gaming/casual tasks) BIG vents on the back and sides, LOTS of air intake area on the bottom The Case just looks amazing thanks to the design team for creating a gaming laptop that looks professional. The Predator Sense interface is clean, loads quickly, and is easy to use. With ray tracing enabled, I saw around 60 fps in COD Warzone at maximum settings. Not many CONS: Fans get noisy under load, but they're quick to respond and bring temperatures down FAST. This is an RTX machine, what can I say? The sound could be improved, especially BASS. But you've read this before on every laptop ad, I know you'll be using headphones to play games. The power connector is in the center back, but here you have to consider the position of the device. an extra $100-$200 for better battery life if possible STORAGE CAPACITY - would love to have a 1TB+ Revain configuration of this amazing nvme SSD. it) Overall, much of this goes without saying, but it's worth repeating that this computer exceeded my expectations 100%.
