Quartet Earth Magnets Large 85391 Review

I recently bought a glass dry erase board. The magnets I had on my previous one didn't work with my new glass. So I bought these. To my surprise, the magnets actually stuck to the board with no problem! Not only did they stick, they held the 4 sheets of paper in place and still seemed to be in place. Although I haven't tried it, I'm sure it can last longer. I also find magnets very attractive.

These quadruple magnets work well, but they're not very strong magnets with 1.26 inch neodymium disc magnets. There are many to choose from. The ones I've used come with double strap washers so you can attach something. I attached some white oak buttons that I made from reclaimed wood (coin brick or polished stone would probably work too). You can double the magnets and get incredible holding power. 20 magnets easily hold 20 sheets of 20# copy paper.

These are great if you want to stick something on the fridge or other magnetic surface. They're small enough not to get in the way and hold a variety of papers well. However, I bought them specifically for use on a dry erase glass board and they will NOT work on it. It doesn't even seem a little. So they really shouldn't be promoted as something suitable for this purpose. I am sending these back. If anyone has a clue as to where the magnets actually work with Quartet's glass board, I'm all ears
