Review on AMD FX-8320E FX-Series 8-Core Black Edition Processor by Ognian Dimitrov ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm impressed! Exactly the product deserves your attention.

Although I assessed the FX-6300, aliexpress released reviews for both the FX-4300 and the FX-6300 for some reason. I was mostly concerned with this specific processor while purchasing a computer. Many people who purchased it at the beginning of this decade later regretted their decision, but after reading the manual and watching overclocking tutorials, I came to the conclusion that, contrary to older models, it is not as hot or expensive and has a lot of potential for overclocking. In contrast to Hyperstumps, it is still relevant today. Today, it is frequently put together into super-budget configurations, but if you are starting from scratch, I suggest purchasing an AMD Ryzen 5 1600- or Ryzen 7 2800-based processor beforehand. If you have the money, it is better to invest it now in a base that has great potential than to buy old equipment that will probably become obsolete in 2-3 years, even in budget assemblies.

Pros
  • Low cost (especially on the used market these days), excellent overclocking potential, performs any Hyperstump and i3 functions, is occasionally less expensive than the i5-4590, and Turbo-Boost (for those who do not want to take a steam bath with independent overclocking)
Cons
  • The performance of Ryzen 5-7 from 1600 and higher is inferior to that of the i7, i9, Xeon E3-E5, and i7 when overclocked.
