The truth is, I have no idea if this model has any rivals. Paid for again in 2022. During the course of three years, I've used it virtually every day. A new all-time high! I have worn them for long periods of time while sleeping, both on my back and my side, and my ears have never become fatigued. Excellent bass and overall sound quality. Superb for blocking out ambient noise, making it an absolute pleasure to use on the bus or tube. Very pliable wire that doesn't get black in the winter. A fair price, indeed. After four years, one of my earbuds finally gave up. There were no warning signs leading up to the breakdown; it simply stopped functioning at some point.
