Control fails after a while

Love these lights and wish I could give more stars but after a about a month the connection stopped working. We ordered the longer strand so it came with two connectors so after one stopped working after about a month of use, we swapped it out with the extra connection we had and that one as well went out fairly quickly. Not sure the reason why this happened, but super disappointing.
