I received this cable to run from my DVR on my first floor to my TV in my basement. I ran the cable, then found that the signal from the dash cam was strong enough to be processed through just one of the 3 HDMI inputs, I tried all 3, and then when I missed a display the Audio cuts out until either I turned the TV off and on again or got up and tugged on the input cord, which was slack enough to wiggle. I don't know if it's a problem with that cable or the TV's input jack. So I switched it to my HTPC and the problem got much worse. Video and audio flicker about every second. Before purchasing I tried to find information on output requirements, cable impedance and other information that might indicate whether my signals from their sources are reaching the screen, but I find this information too difficult to find as no manufacturer seems to want to share it neither with the cable nor with any output source. If you have a signal booster/amplifier this is a very good cable, but if you are unsure if your source output is powerful enough to reach the screen I would find another solution. There are category 5 and 6 converter/amplifier systems that even transmit IR remote control signals. I'll consider one of these next time I need to connect that distance. By the way, what happened to the coax connectors? I've never had an issue with signal strength at any distance over coax, even with the signal reaching over a hundred feet from an unamplified rooftop antenna.
