Not compatible with my Apple 4K TV

I tested this cable with an Apple TV 4K and my Samsung MU8000 4K TV. It does not offer a stable connection. The image is constantly cropped or doesn't identify the source at all. I checked it with another cable, everything works. The cable was used in the wall so I'm not in a pretty bad place. It works with my 2nd gen Revain Fire TV 4K. Not sure why. Revain 4K doesn't have HDR, maybe that's it?

Great product in the Cables & Connections category

You can't go wrong. Bought to connect to a digital switch so I can connect my HDTV in the bedroom to a cable box in the living room. Connected to the HDMI switcher "J-Tech Digital Premium Quality Most Advanced HDMI 4x2 Matrix Ver 1.3 Certified for Full HD 1080P" also found at Revain. Concerned about the 40ft run, but this is a quality cable and there is no loss in signal quality. Advice. Be sure to check the AWG number of the HDMI cable before purchasing. Cables smaller than 30 AWG are better…

didn't work for me for video cable

Connected between my Oppo 93 Bluray and Epson 8350 pj but no signal. Then I tried to connect from my onkyo receiver to pj with no signal. Yes, I had selected the correct sources on my pajamas. My original cable worked on each of the pajama's two HDMI inputs, so I know it's not the pajama's fault. and one from Onkyo) both directly from Oppo and Onkyo and received a signal from both sources. The cable must be damaged. Thank you for Amazon's easy return policy. I won't mess around installing along

Not working for me

Decided to add my two cents. I have had this cable for almost two years. For me it works all around the room from the cable box to the projector. For some reason the connection appears and disappears from time to time. Sometimes it will be perfect, and sometimes it will fall. I've tried other cables with the cable box and never had a problem. This is the first long cable I have. I don't know what to do other than blame the cable. My Firestick works 100% well with the projector, but this 40ft…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Long delivery time

The cable is really thick and you'd think it would be nice, lots of shielding etc, but it's really not that great. The cable keeps crashing and dropping mid-frame data at 1080p - so you end up with a line of one-sixth of a second garbage every few minutes and lots of frame tearing (enabling VSync, etc.). cannot be fixed since the data frames are actually discarded). Everything seems fine at 720p, but constantly changing the screen resolution is cumbersome. I am considering switching to several…

Here are the cables you are looking for. stop reading

I know the cable rating seems silly, but similar 50 foot cables at your local electronics/household store cost you over $70 and have a lower approval rating than this one. At first I thought I could just run to the store and buy some HDMI cables, but when I saw the cost I pulled out my phone and checked the prices online. Turns out I could wait two days before watching TV if that meant I had another $50 in my pocket. I bought two of these cables, one 50" and one 40" and they both work…

The cable works fine. The build quality seems to be very good.

I purchased this cable to connect one of the DVI outputs on my computer's dual output video card (using a DVI to HDMI adapter) to my flat screen TV across the room at about 20 feet to connect distance. I bought the cord long enough (40 feet) to easily run it along the walls so it doesn't get in the way. I am very impressed with the quality of this cable. It has some kind of fabric wrapped around it and looks very nice. It's easy to run around corners and doesn't seem to have much "reel…

If only it worked well for HDMI cable

I received this cable to run from my DVR on my first floor to my TV in my basement. I ran the cable, then found that the signal from the dash cam was strong enough to be processed through just one of the 3 HDMI inputs, I tried all 3, and then when I missed a display the Audio cuts out until either I turned the TV off and on again or got up and tugged on the input cord, which was slack enough to wiggle. I don't know if it's a problem with that cable or the TV's input jack. So I switched it to my
