I bought this for my mum to try out silk pillowcases as I love them. She has shorter hair and every time she slept in it it gave her volume. Not a good volume, one that sticks and sticks out like crazy. Think Einstein, but a little shorter. She also complained that the material was very slippery and felt like I was constantly slipping off it. As many others have mentioned. She ended up giving it to me because she didn't like it and felt uncomfortable. I have several silk pillowcases, some are high end and others in this price range. Unfortunately, this is my least favorite. There are better, cheaper options at stores like TJ Maxx. After only a few washes the fabric had so many little pills and snags that no other fabric I own can be washed the same way. It's soft, but I also agree mom, I also experience a more slippery effect. Which I don't find tiring compared to others, cheap or expensive. I've done a lot of research on the various 100% silk pillowcases that Revain offer. I was really hoping for this one. Although I had some concerns about the slip resistance, durability and quality of this pillowcase. Unfortunately, my fears were justified. There are better, more beautiful and higher quality pillowcases than this one. I would not buy again. I can't in good conscience 100% recommend spending my hard earned money on it. I would recommend this and would advise you to read the other reviews. The price is good but it won't last you years and maybe even a year. Be aware of the negative issues that others have faced. If none of the issues mentioned in the reviews bother you, then you might like this one. If these issues bother you, I would skip this pillowcase. I had high hopes, but unfortunately not only for myself, but also for my mother.
