Earfun Air Pros: Great sound, great value - love them!

I've been using Earfun Air for a long time and while I like them, they don't have noise canceling. When the Air Pro with noise cancellation came out, I bought it immediately. My reference headphones are the Bose QC35II. As expected, the $350 Bose has better bass and treble, a deeper soundstage, but I was surprised at how good the Earfun Air Pros are. The mids and upper bass are strong and the highs are still very good. With a little EQ at the extreme ends of the audio spectrum, I can bring them even closer to Bose. Mids are excellent and especially good on female voices. Overall I think the sound is great for the music I listen to: rock, blues, jazz, with a touch of classical. For longer listening times (air travel etc.) I will choose the Earfuns headphones. They're a lot more comfortable and a lot cooler (temperature wise) - ears can get a little sweaty in Bose. The noise cancellation is very good. The combination of relatively well-sealed earpiece and electronics does the job well. Ambient mode allows me to keep a better eye on what's going on around me when needed, and when I don't need noise-cancelling, Normal mode adds a few extra hours on a single charge. I get 6 to 7 hours of playback. with noise canceling on depending on my listening volume, and I get a few extra charges (plus a bit more) from the charging case so I don't have to worry about where to charge it during the day when I travel. . I usually charge the case in a couple of days. I mainly use them to listen to music or watch videos on my mobile devices, but phone calls are clear and the additional mics seem to cancel out most background noise, allowing people on the other side of the phone to hear me clearly. I use them regularly with my iPhone, iPad and Windows laptop. They all connect seamlessly on first use, and the Air Pro will automatically connect to the last device they were paired with. They connect so quickly that they connect before I can get them to my ears. I can only use one earbud at a time when I want to have one ear free, and each can be used individually, automatically switching to mono when only one is in use. Some headphones I looked at only had mono on one side. In-ear detection pauses my music when I pull out my headphones. So if I need to talk, I unplug and I can go back to where I was. when I use them again. Oh yes, the playback also starts automatically. It also works great with Siri. I was really surprised how well they perform in the Apple ecosystem. All in all, I think you'll have a hard time beating the Air Pros without paying significantly more. As a testament to how much I like them, my newly adopted pup chewed on one of the headphones recently when I let it within reach (my poor one). I immediately returned to Revain and ordered another set.
