Very happy with this elastic cord. I live in an earthquake country and was looking for something that would help keep books and the like at least semi safe from collapsing in the event of a medium to large earthquake. Buyer Tip: Be sure to select a cable that is perhaps a foot shorter than the span you are trying to attach. You want the cable to be taut, not slack, when pulled out. The 6 inch cable I bought had almost 2 feet of stretch. If I could change something the seller would offer multiple size options in multiple packs of 2 or 4 cords. You may not be sure what length you need, the ideal length could be between two sizes, for example 4ft would be fine for my use, but not knowing the stretch factor I chose 6" because I'm on the trust span in question, no less than 1 foot of flexible stretch. If the wingspan was 5ft 6in, would 4ft be enough? I will never know If the factory/vendor offered packaging options with two cables, say both 2ft + 4ft or 4ft + 6ft, I wouldn't have to guess which length would suit my needs
