Bought for the wardrobe. I was terrified of assembling and was shocked at how easy it was. It was actually easy, if it's stopping you from ordering I'd say don't worry. The quality of the steel frame and drawers is amazing and exceeded my expectations. The drawers are strong enough to hold clothes when you fill them full. However, if you do this, there will be a slight distortion after the box is closed because not all the boxes are properly aligned. So I fill it the third way and it looks good on the outside. Also, if you fill it to the max when you open the drawer, you'll have to hold onto it or just take it out entirely to get what you need, which sounds annoying, but it really isn't. The top wooden part is great as you can use it to hold/display all sorts of items for decoration. It makes my closet very tidy to have. It's very durable and I can only recommend it.
