This is a stylish and functional makeup mirror! It doesn't run on batteries. Input voltage 100-240 with US plug. For use outside of the USA, all you need is a plug adapter (see photo). No voltage converter required! I used a US 2 pin plug and a German 2 pin adapter and plugged it into a 220 volt outlet. I really like that the mirror arm can be tilted up/down/forward/backward and the mirror itself can rotate 360 degrees. This floor mirror has Zadro product quality which I love! A mirror with 10x magnification is good for plucking eyebrows, while a regular mirror is great for applying makeup. Three lighting options are good, but I really use the natural light option. I would not use this mirror when traveling as it would be cumbersome. This is a great mirror for your home!
