That's why I like to put them on our golf cart. I just stick a small peg into the velcro that runs along the outside of the roof, solar panel up. I use paper clips to thread the light wire every 8-10 inches and then our wagon lights up each night while we have fun rolling through our park. They seem to last about 2 years before I have to replace them. It takes 3-4 times to go around the roof of a golf cart. Very cute and functional as it improves our visibility at night. I would rate them as durable as the cork sometimes falls off in high winds (35-60 mph). Here the wind blows! I just pin it back and that's it. I also have some glasses on the tables or on the floor in our country house. I have a traffic jam in the window behind closed curtains to the outside, and then it seems that lights are on in every room when we're not there.
