Actually I didn't connect them properly, I connected them to the Arc on the TV via HDMI. To be specific, I connected the Fire TV directly to the 3rd Gen Yamaha Fire TV Receiver via HDMI. Put a small fan on it. So this cable and the only cable used is from avr hdmi to arc on samsung tv arc. Nothing else and works perfectly. I would post this on the Samsung, Yamaha or Redit sites. They all can do it and get a loan. I swear I should have stayed in engineering 30 years ago. The solution to all arcing problems. Have fun with my little summer kids.
