Defective charger on Nintendo systems

I can only charge one remote at a time. Had all four charged and nothing happened. The red charging indicator only lights up when a remote control is in the docking station. Follow charging port specs and still only be able to charge one at a time. The product does not charge all four remote controls at the same time as stated in the description.
