I used it to convert a backpack into a camera bag. No camera bag seems to suit my needs. I am technically handicapped on duty due to a back injury and always have to be careful with the bag I carry. I have never found a comfortable bag no matter what anyone says. Camera bags suck in my opinion in terms of ergonomics and I don't care what you recommend because I was willing to shell out hundreds for a camera bag and they are all incredibly uncomfortable and unrealistic for long-term use by anyone who owns a real one has problem with spine. This is PERFECT for the bottom of my North Face Surge backpack. I've taken it to several concerts, events and weddings and to be honest it's been an incredible product for making the bottom of my backpack more organized and structured for my work. Besides work, it was great when I use the bag to stay somewhere for the weekend. Sorting all my stuff is just so nice. I can't help him when it comes to other things like durability as he lives in the bottom of my backpack and hasn't left that place since the day he arrived but this has ABSOLUTELY helped me.
