Based on our own experience, these mailers did not meet our expectations for industrial and scientific use... While they may be elegant in appearance they are not tear proof or waterproof as advertised. The only benefit we found was in their size and shape. However, we will not be purchasing these envelopes again due to their lack of protection for our important documents and materials..
