If you are looking for a filter for your entire home, this is it! Installation is not easy, but not very difficult either. Total time for me was about 7 hours (including an extra trip to the hardware store) but it could have been a lot less. First the bad news. I had two leaks (nipple and o-ring). However, both errors turned out to be operator errors and were easy to fix. Also, the bracket comes with screws to attach to the filter housing but not to attach the bracket to the wall, so keep that in mind. Second good news. I love this filter system. It wasn't very difficult to install. As you can see, I turned on the bypass so you can change the filters without shutting off the water supply to the house. This housing is compatible with any 10x4.5" filter making it easy to select the filter that suits your home. I would recommend getting a spare filter so you have it when it's time to replace it.To change it, check last year's water bill and estimate the time based on water usage and filter performance.In short, if you need or want a water filter for your whole house, this is a great value.
