Size up if you wear a half size. I wear a US size 9 1/2 and had to go for EU 41 instead of EU 40 because 40 had a short toe. I think that's to be expected from shoes made in China. Personally, I find closed-toe shoes "Made in China" always too short at the top. However, the leather of these shoes is exceptionally soft and the wedges are very comfortable. So far I've only worn them at home and am still curious if they will be comfortable to wear all day long as the heel area is very high on the heel. I hope this will not cause any comfort issues when worn for a long time. Just take a look.
