Review on High Capacity 64GB USB C Flash Drive - Dual USB 3.0 Pen Drive for Type-C Android, MacBook & More by Bradley Stewart

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Reliable flash drive but a bit slow for Type-C and USB 3.0

For USB 3.0, this drive is a bit disappointing. The size of this flash drive is compact, but it has a rather slow write speed for this type of USB. After a test I compared it with other 3.0 flash drives, it writes a little more than a high performance USB 2.0 flash drive. Reading speed is ok, but again not on the level it should be for 3.0. I tried this on several different 3.0 ports but writing was very slow. It had an average write speed of 24MB/s and a read speed of 50MB/s. I also tried switching from type c to type c and the write speed was the same. I also tried this with a few other Type-C ports, including Thunderbolt, but the speeds didn't vary too much. I will say that this is indeed a 64GB flash drive and the flash drive design is beautiful and the color is beautiful. It is extremely compact and easily fits on a keychain. It's made of metal, so be aware that it's easy to scratch. Just a few seconds with things like your keys and you'll notice scratches on them, so keep that in mind. It has a loop at the end that you can thread a string through so you can hang it from your keys or a string. You can install rope or chain. Please note that if a chain is used, it will be scratched. The flash drive itself fits into each slot fairly snugly and cannot be easily detached. It's not too thick to take up more than one slot, so you can easily connect it to other devices when you need it. The USB flash drive's rotating mechanism is quite robust, so it won't easily rotate under the weight of the flash drive's head or accidentally. Even after I rotated it a few times, it didn't wobble or anything like that. Another thing I would like to point out about this product is that it is relatively large compared to many other flash drives on the market. Again, the silver layer is very easy to scratch, so be careful when applying it to your keys. It's thin enough not to take up too much space. I would say it all depends on the port you are connecting to. You have enough space to work, but the transfer speed does not last long because the writing speed is very slow. 64GB gives you a bit more storage and I'd say that's above average for what most people need right now. Overall, this is a good flash drive in terms of size and portability, but it has a very slow write speed compared to other USB 3.0 flash drives.
