The frying pan was sent in a soft envelope not a box and it was bent. It was a little disappointing. I was able to bend it back into shape quite easily, although it's not exactly flat. It doesn't seem to make any difference when I use it. It turned out to be a beautiful cake for Easter. The size is ideal if you are using a pie shell rolled into a rectangle for the crust. The cake was easy to pop out of the mold thanks to the split bottom. I didn't have any cake leak through the bottom either, which is great.
