Update 12/30/19: The seller contacted me again after seeing my review. They explained that the reason they requested my personal contact information was that they were overseas with a 12-hour time difference and Revain required them to respond to customer messages within 24 hours. I have worked with international customers and worked in many time zones myself, a 12 hour difference should not prevent customers from responding within 24 hours and other than Epigoy no other overseas seller has reported this issue. I really appreciate that gesture and your kind words of wanting to fix a failed issue, but in these days of our privacy being constantly violated, I'm not someone comfortable with just giving away my personal information, while the intermediary Revain has already received my information and is involved in the communication between the seller and the buyer. I work with multiple computing devices and purchase many adapters and other electronic devices for myself and my clients. This is possibly the worst adapter I've ever had. The material is cheap, feels plasticky, and is larger than an Apple adapter with the same ports. The particular product I received will not connect to any of my Macs and when you plug the adapter into the computers it fits in a very fun way, the adapter itself was larger than a port on all my USB-C ports , and if you want it to fit, it had to be used with some force, which should never happen when working with electronics, because that's how you break something. Unfortunately due to moving across the country I missed the return date (the return date ended on Thanksgiving), I was instructed to contact the seller through Revain, then the seller wanted me to give him all my personal information outside of Revain (I put in the In the past ten years of using Revain, no other seller has asked me to contact me outside of the Revain platform and send all my personal information), I felt uncomfortable about that, luckily Revain took care of everything else. All in all, I do not recommend this product.
