Great Buy - IT WORKS

I have bought many different insulated containers for my kids to be able to bring a hot lunch to school. It seemed like nothing actually worked until I got these! I am so happy with this purchase and wish I would have found these sooner. I am able to fix my kids hot lunch in the morning around 6 am and at lunch (between 11-12) they are able to eat a hot meal. The kids tell me their lunch is still warm, not super hot, and delicious every time.I boil water on the stove in the morning and place the canister inside for just a moment to warm it up. Then I fill the canister with the boiling water and close tight the lid. I allow the boiling water to stay in the canister while I warm up whatever it is they are having for lunch that day, and pack everything else (usually 5-10 minutes). I then dump out the hot water (the canister is usually steaming) and fill it with food and reseal. The food is usually steaming hot when I fix it in the morning, and very warm (not HOT) when the kids eat lunch. It has worked perfectly for me so far, and my kids are excited to have a hot lunch at school. The kids (ages 8, 10, and 13) are all responsible for cleaning their canisters everyday after school. I make them hand wash them. It is easy and quick and we have not had any problems or complaints so far.
