In our case the cat's wounds healed well after 4 days and we were hoping something less intrusive than a cone would keep her from closing on the wound after spaying poking around She didn't seem to mind that jumpsuit (_too_) and after watching her like a hawk for the first 8 hours or so, she didn't even try to get to the post-op scar. I'm not sure if this will work. for everyone, but at least as an option, this particular jumper worked. It's constructed fairly well, lightweight, stretches enough, and the neck collar is padded and adjustable enough to stay in place.
