I have been using this product for my dog who gets overly anxious. When it works, it works VERY well, but about 25% of the time I put a new collar on and it doesn’t work at all. When it doesn’t work, she’s afraid of the stairs, she startles easily, and she’s hostile with other dogs, including her housemates! When it does work, all this disappears and she naps on the sofa next to the other dogs. I think the company has unreliable production methods.

I waited for several weeks to give it time to work but did not notice any changes whatsoever on my dog’s anxiety or nervousness.

Perfect product for my dog with high anxiety. I put it on him when we go on vacation and he needs to be boarded. It works wonders!

Bought collar for my golden & it hasn’t helped my dog at all. Kind of disappointed! We do use thunder jacket also with some effect

Like any calming treatment, it may not work for every dog. The Thundershirt was ineffective so we decided to add this calming collar and it also did nothing. Our dog has short hair and we tried to make it reasonably tight in order to have his body heat activate the collar per the instructions, but after a few weeks, there was no change in his anxiety. Might work for other dogs. At least the return policy is generous.

I guess I misunderstood about this collar.? I had hoped to be able to use this on an as-needed basis for thunderstorms and fireworks. So I fitted it on my dog last night as a round of storms was nearing. Not sure if it worked or the storms just weren't bad enough to set off my dog, but she was pretty calm throughout. When I tried to remove it after everything was far enough away, I couldn't get the collar off. So I had to cut it. Don't see how I can use it again so that was a waste of money in…

Used this along with a pheromone spray on my 9 year old dogs blanket to try and keep him calm on long car rides. Neither seemed to work, even when used together. He still started panting and moving about in the back seat as soon as we left. And I had the collar on him for two days prior (per the directions) and sprayed the blanket about 20 minutes (per the directions) before we left so the alcohol smell evaporated. It didn’t work with my dogs that have a pathological fear of thunderstorms. Used it with plug ins and thunder shirt. The collar may not work at all for some dogs!

I have a very reactive dog due to anxiety. I think Thunder ease has met its match. My 55# pure bread standard size poodle rescue came to me with very little training. If it made any difference, it was very little. I am so happy for those who this collar worked well. We are still on our quest to find the right solution.Thanks

This product did absolutely nothing for my 75lb dog. The collar is not even 1/2” wide. It probably needs to be 1” or more for a big dog.

Ever since my cat died, my dog has been acting up tearing things up when she's left alone. I've had the collar on her for several weeks now and it's done no good. I see others that like it and others in the same situation as me. So all I can say is that in my experience it's not a good solution for separation anxiety.

Love this it really works. Doobie first trip the doctor gave us doggie calming pills and all they did was make him fart. Then we heard about this collor and wow it really works no crying or whining from the backseat anymore

I wish this collar had worked, but it doesn't seem to make any difference when the fireworks are going off. Did not notice much of a change in my dogs demeanor!

DON'T purchase this item, this collar will not calm your dog even in the slightest amount of thunder or any kind of noise.

We just moved to a new townhouse where there was more noise then where we lived before. Was skeptical but bought anyway. So SURPRISED our dog was not jumping up to run to the window nearly as much as before. More expensive than I wanted since you have to replace them every month but our dog is worth it.

The collar works to calm my anxious dog. It’s not a miracle worker by completely changing her, but does "take the edge off”. It is comfortable for her to wear. When she’s not wearing it Inkeep it in a ziplock baggie to prolong the use time.

Bought this product the help keep my older dog calm during thunderstorms. I knew the thunderstorms were on their way so I put on his thunder shirt and the collar. He still freaked out and destroyed the kennel. I left it on thinking maybe it needed some time to begin working. I got nothing positive out of it. Waste of my money. Sorry

I have a beagle that is afraid of loud noises. So needless to say, I was preparing for the 4TH with due dilegence. I purchased this collar thinking it would help. I put it on for JULY 1, give it a few days to see how she reacts. Last night people starting shooting off things in my neighborhood. She got so scared , she ran in the closet. So I cut it off,, and I will be resorting to some good old fashioned XANEX!
