To better understand my story, I have to go back: I started waxing at the age of 12 with the Parissa Wax brand, which is also used by other family members. It worked fine initially, but over the years I noticed something was wrong with the product. I ignored it and kept using it. Before I knew it, my skin was pretty badly damaged. Struggling with ingrown hairs, skin tears and folliculitis is just seriously depressing. In less than a year I went from hard skin to thin and sensitive. I was young when this started. I've tried all sorts of exfoliating products and procedures (all natural, homemade home remedies, creams, lotions, steam, oil, you name it, I've probably tried) to help my skin, but to no avail. I had to give up waxing (and since I don't shave that wasn't an option) and switch to waxing, but I ended up not waxing at all, except maybe 2-3 months apart. it didn't suit me. My family loved Buf Puf and with everything I tried I realized I never really took the risk of using it. I thought, OK, what do I have to lose? And got one. To my shock, so far so good. Now my skin is not totally clear (as you can see in the photos) but after 3 months of use my skin is not as bad as it used to be and can remove hair in a month not 2-3. I hope that in 6 months (maybe sooner!) my skin will be completely clear and I can wear capris again! I'm excited! The quality of Buf Puf is amazing! This thing really lasts a month (and to be honest, if you don't use it every day like I do, it can easily last longer than a month!). I'm only giving 4 stars at the moment, but that's only because I want to give the FINAL verdict after my 6 month goal. At this point I can endorse 4 or give 5. And let me tell you, I pray for 5! I hope this review helps those in similar situations.
