My box was damaged and one of the plastic cups covering the piston mechanism under the seat was also damaged. It's not very noticeable when the chair is assembled, but it's worth noting that the box is damaged. It took my mom and I two hours to make this chair. The directions were quite small and printed in a chart format, making it difficult for us to distinguish some of the pucks and their location. We had problems with the initial chair back/floor assembly because the holes on the sides didn't line up properly with the screws; We found that they were made at an angle rather than straight. The tools that came with the chair were slightly serrated on the ends, causing them to get stuck in screws and bolts that we found difficult enough to align with the threads of the pre-drilled holes. Once we were finally able to attach the screws, the rest of the chair assembly became easier. I had to spend extra money to have someone else assemble this chair. After the chair is assembled I can confirm the reviews on how comfortable it was. Overall I felt this chair was value for money and I look forward to enjoying my new chair.
