I used a stand for indoor LED lighting. Little did I know I had spent about $100 on an existing stand when I decided I needed another. I looked around and found 2 Neewer racks and decided I'd try them for about a quarter of the price. Arrived and I tested them. There is little difference between them and the higher price. For example, on a more expensive model, the mechanism has an air cushion so they extend and retract in what I would call a smoother way, but the Neewer struts are perfectly acceptable. Also, Neewer stands don't reach that height, they are advertised as 6 and 1/4 feet, but they are closer to 7 feet. High enough for my needs. For my needs they will be great. Convenient to use, easy to store and durable. Excellent all round worth for the price
