Worked great for the Vive Beacon

Worked great for the Vive Beacon. I used a pro mini camera mount with a ball head on top (they were perfect but expensive). However, the tripods were too light for use on carpets, so the beacons wobbled at times. Most of the time it wasn't noticeable. When things get bad I put sandbags on the base

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Frequency

Neewer has done a great job in providing products for the budding photographer, freelancer and hobbyist at a very affordable price. I will express concern that the quality of the product is not the best, this is definitely a set and forget the stand if you use it very often, and also wrap and wrap it, make sure it is delicate, they're not hard coasters, that's an expensive offering manufacturer, but they do the job for a reasonable price.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Inexpensive light stands that work

These are very light stands. There's nothing special about them. They work and do what they need to keep my lights going. I also use this to hold my video slider from time to time as it requires two light stands to hold it. My slider is very light and he couldn't have handled it without these stands. If you're looking for coasters that can be used for lighting and don't have to worry about damage, then these are for you. They are inexpensive and serve their purpose.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Very light, very cheap, but good enough for some things.

Both knuckles were damaged (the top clip holding the smaller extension was half broken from over tightening) but I have a feeling they would work great for small gears if delivered in the best condition would. form. They are significantly inferior in quality to my Impact tripods, but if this is your first light tripod I don't think you will be disappointed. Personally I wouldn't bet more than a few pounds on them, but for a small LED bar or a 5-7 inch monitor they seem fine.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Easily repairable

Exactly as described

I lost my light supports and needed extra supports. Ordered through Revain Prime, arrived literally the next day. Upon unboxing they were well packed but they are really light as described. However if your lights aren't heavy then you're fine, otherwise you may need a sandbag to hold them down but so far I haven't had to put a sandbag on top of them and if you need that for a temporary fix then this might do that though Product for you when you are on the go and use it as a professional device.

  • GOLS certified

Solid stands for lighting

I used a stand for indoor LED lighting. Little did I know I had spent about $100 on an existing stand when I decided I needed another. I looked around and found 2 Neewer racks and decided I'd try them for about a quarter of the price. Arrived and I tested them. There is little difference between them and the higher price. For example, on a more expensive model, the mechanism has an air cushion so they extend and retract in what I would call a smoother way, but the Neewer struts are perfectly…

Excellent value, limited durability

This lightweight stand kit offers excellent value for money. The quality of construction isn't lacking, and the internal springs help a bit in setting up the stand. If accessibility is high on your priority list, this is a good choice. However, they are not very durable. I have LED lights installed on my stands, units that weigh about four pounds (within the published weight limit) and with the stands extended there is some wobbling that needs to settle before the light can be used. This isn't…

This is a good product for the price.

As a photographer, I know that quality is more important than junk when it comes to gear. In the world of photography, some expensive things aren't worth the money. You can find great deals that stand up to more expensive items too. For $25.00 including 2 day shipping, you can't go wrong. This item serves as a set of light stands to hold a remote control flash or some other light items. These coasters can also be used for various projects around the house if needed (I bought them for a…
