I have this unit in a large large room with a whole family of high quality speakers. The customization options are great. In my case this device worked best with an RCA jack as my receiver has 2 independent channels for connecting subwoofers and an electronic control interface. Even at high volumes, this woofer had no distortion. It's on par with more expensive woofers so you won't be disappointed if you spend less money on this unit. No loss of performance in movies, so enjoy the noise.
