Natural Deodorant Ends the Drunk Elephant Journey

Ash: I recently took the opportunity to make the switch from 11 Years Degree Clinical Strength deodorant to natural deodorants from the comfort of my own home. At first I tried not to detox because my armpits are sensitive to apple cider vinegar. I then bought a natural deodorant with extra strength baking soda, but quickly found that my armpits were also sensitive to baking soda. An app changed the game for me. I started using Smarty Pits Sensitive Lavender but I had to apply it twice: once in the evening after showering and again in the morning. It looked like a lot of debris and a bit sticky from a little sweating. But I finished, and when it came time to order again, I ordered Smart Mango Pits and Drunk Elephants deodorant. I detoxed again (at Smarty Pits I detoxed about every two weeks) and tried Drunk Elephant deodorant. At first I didn't think it would work because it was creamy and moist like old Avon Roll deodorants from the past. But I went to bed and woke up with a dry armpit with no sweat, discharge or odor. I was deeply impressed. That night I checked my armpits again before I showered and they still smelled clean and dry. I don't know how long this little bottle will last, but I probably won't try other deodorants. The drunk elephant hit me again.

Pros
  • WHAT IT DOES. This deodorant cream with a powerful blend of mandelic acid and absorbent arrowroot eliminates odor-causing bacteria and absorbs excess moisture from the skin.
Cons
  • So far so good
