Review on 🖥️ AOC 27" Monitor: IPS, 1920X1080, Tilt Adjustment, Blue Light Filter, Flicker-Free, Wall Mountable, HDMI - 3-Sided Frameless Design by Antoine Tucker

I bought this to replace my old 24" Gateway monitor which unfortunately had water damage. Compared to that old outdated monitor, this monitor is not up to date. I bought the updated version to save some money , and everything was perfect; there were no scratches on the screen, the cables and stand were intact with no cracks or serious damage. The monitor works great! That's where the good ends. Compared to my old Gateway monitor, this monitor has none nice bright colors. Actually the colors are turned off. Red is not that bright. It looks more like pink than red. Yellow is more like orange. I had to go into the settings to change a lot. The HDMI that came with the monitor -Kabel gave the whole screen a smoky, blurry look like the colors were washed out (like watercolor) and the background looked like Los Angeles with a smoky tint or something the fog. It didn't look good. generally. So I replaced the HDMI cable with a VGA cable and it got 200x better. There was no more smoky look, and colors were more vibrant and a bit more accurate (although they still weren't as good on my old Gateway monitor). Overall it gets the job done, but don't expect beautiful colors on the display. Maximum resolution 1920 x 1080 with HDMI or VGA. The maximum refresh rate is 75 Hz, but only when using an HDMI cable. If you use a VGA cable, the maximum refresh rate is 60 Hz. The monitor itself is quite light. I was amazed at how easy it is to hold and set this up in one hand; Unfortunately, you can't move him by the neck or stand, so he sits still in one position most of the time. I'd say it's great for everyday computing, decent to good for gaming, and great for the price.
