Reading the reviews of many smartwatches, I was impressed that several reviewers of this watch mentioned that they bought the watch mainly because of their previous experience with Tranya Headphones. That speaks for the company. All in all, I'm glad I followed her advice. That's a lot of hours for the money. In fact, it has way more features than I really need, although some of the "extra features" (like the choice of watch faces) are really nice. Despite all the features, the setup was pretty easy and the instructions are clear enough (although the font is quite small). I only had one question that the instructions didn't answer, and my emailed support question was answered in just a few hours (very pleasant surprise). The sleep tracking feature, while interesting, has limited accuracy and therefore limited value. However, this seems to be the case for all watches with sleep tracking. (See https://theconversation.com/are-sleep-trackers-accurate-heres-what-researchers-currently-know-152500.) The first two times I used it for sleep tracking, it took two hours to i fell asleep . However, as I lay still, the watch incorrectly recorded that I was in a deep sleep when I was actually trying to fall asleep in love. I bought this watch mainly for the heart rate monitoring feature and initially I found it accurate and reliable compared to a finger based heart rate monitor and an old fashioned manual heart rate monitor. Unfortunately, about 3/4 of the way into my first workout, it started showing erratic readings. I thought maybe it was because I was sweating, but wiping the sweat off the back of the watch and off my wrist had no effect and the readings remained erratic and inaccurate - mostly low. I think Tranya is probably aware of this issue as the first firmware update affected heart rate monitor and security issues. By the way, I'm impressed that there were 2 firmware updates in the first 3 days of owning this watch. This tells me that Tranya is genuinely interested in continuously improving the product even after purchase, which is not common these days. The battery life seems to be excellent. I received the watch 3 days ago with a 68% charged battery and now it reads 34%. It is impressive. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. If it weren't for the reliability issues with the heart rate measurement at higher heart rates, my rating would easily be 5 stars. I hope that Tranya will successfully solve this problem in the future.
