I was looking for a case for my iPad 9.7 that is very sturdy and has a lid that can be closed when I'm not using the iPad. At first I was concerned that this case does not have a clear screen protector. (I wanted this feature in addition to the ability to close the lid.) However, I read in one of the reviews that someone used it with another company's clear screen protector. In my experience, some of the clear screen protectors that came with the iPad case felt like they were plastic, so the fact that I could use a higher quality screen protector with this case was an advantage, even with the extra ones cost of buying one. separately. I purchased a JETech tempered glass screen protector through Revain for this case. First I put a protective film on the iPad and then a case. It fits perfectly! And now I have a crystal clear glass screen protector with a seemingly durable case that I can close when not in use. I like that in this case the iPad "sleeps" when the lid is closed, which helps extend battery life. I don't really use the "stand" feature of this case (to put an iPad on a table for example) but it does. Disassemble the case (separate the top from the bottom) so that it can be installed on the iPad. Luckily, the company included a small plastic tool to help with this, which was a big help. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. The only thing that could be improved would be if a quality screen protector was offered as an option with the case. And I appreciate that another reviewer pointed out that they used the one purchased separately with this case.
