Sharp peeler requires less effort. This can make small jobs easier and eliminate bubbles on large jobs. Years ago I discovered that a compact sanding board the size of this file would work. There was a burr on the outside which I removed with a sharpener. The sanding board was a bit rough and the grit didn't last long. I tried the 3 Swords nail file because the sapphire embedded in stainless steel sounded promising. That gave me an advantage. Using the file this way didn't seem to break it. Others I use almost every day for my nails. I drilled a hole in the handle to hang it on a rod in the table leg just below the table top. It's easy to get to and I won't have any trouble finding it.
