I bought these to connect LED lights outside under my 5 wheel trailer and to connect external low power devices like parking lights and backup alarms. For this purpose they work quite well. At first I wrote a scathing review, but the company contacted me and sent me 10 more pairs to use. These new connectors are much better than the ones I originally had. They actually have seals that keep water out well and none of them came together like my first set. They have been in operation for a year and without any failures. I actually bought a second pack of these to use. I ended up attaching them to all the light bars under the trailer. I have 6 16ft strips all in LED channels with caps and 3 different power supplies all with these connectors. I am very happy with it and recommend it for outdoor use in cars, trucks and trailers.
