Review on Razer Basilisk Gaming Mouse Black by Micha Kamierczak ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice price, good quality.

The mouse is really good. The quality is obvious, both materials and sensor. The legs glide perfectly and silently on a bare table or rug. The software is quite normal, nothing hangs. But, to me personally, only the dpi setting function is needed there. All kinds of changes in the backlight are purely to play around until you get bored. The sensor is good, it is more than enough. 16000 - I don't even know where it is used. In some tanks, 800dpi is enough for the eyes. More shooters. Now for what I didn't like. Before that, Microsoft Sidewinder, which I bought in 2022 for 3 thousand, served me faithfully for several years. But, by 2022, it began to "jump", the wheel does not respond to pressing. So, she's taller than Raiser and it's convenient for me that her hump rested on my palm. The basilisk is lower and, in addition to this, the shape of the right sidewall is sloping. The nameless one has nothing to cling to and he hangs freely to the table, along with his little finger. The length of my brush is 19cm. If Raiser were taller, everything would be perfect for me. Someone complains about its severity. For me, on the contrary, it is light compared to the Sidewinder (even without weights). We'll get used to it. They would make the right side like in Redragon Phaser, for example, it would be the very thing. And so, the top mouse.

Pros
  • Manufacturing quality. Nice view. The ability to customize the backlight. Top sensor, calibrated for any surface. Sensitivity is set in increments of 50dpi, and, not like on Sidewinder, in 200)). Soft braided wire.
Cons
  • For me it's low. On the right is a sloping surface, the fingers have nothing to catch on. The nameless one with the little finger "hangs" to the table. You need to relearn the grip.
