Original review: Probably my favorite scarf ever. I bought it on a whim but I have no regrets! Due to cold air asthma and allergies to dust and pollen, I regularly cover my face in different seasons. This scarf has the perfect balance of breathability and coverage. It is gentle and soft, does not wear out over time. It can work with both moisture and dry air. I highly recommend this for people who are often outdoors or anyone who needs a breathable scarf to wrap around their face. It is also large enough to be used as a headscarf. My only concern is that if you tie it over your face and tie it in a bun around your neck, it might slip off easily; I combat this problem by tying a knot over the handkerchief (see photo). You can tie it over a beanie or headband with the same success. Features: - great silky texture, kind to the skin - thin enough to breathe but thick enough to provide good coverage - warms the face in winter, keeps it cool in summer. Update 05/2020: Looks like everyone is covering their faces now! For almost 3 years I've been wearing this scarf on my nose and mouth for over 12 hours a day and I find it absolutely comfortable, even at 100°+ heat. Can't recommend enough! I just bought a second one although my first one remains solid. For virus protection - it's a bit flimsy so fold it in half or tie another mask over it (if it's not too hot). You can wear this all day and not feel a thing! Make sure you have a tissue or rag to place the knot on or it may slip off.
