Original review: Probably my favorite scarf ever. I bought it on a whim but I have no regrets! Due to cold air asthma and allergies to dust and pollen, I regularly cover my face in different seasons. Good quality but I ordered yellow and although the tag is yellow it is more of a gold colour. It is not "lemon yellow" as shown in the picture. The color difference is too big to be just a difference in computer monitors etc. It's a completely different shade.

Perfect size, easy to wash. Dried and ironed for a few minutes. Some people probably won't iron and it will still look good. I lost the same one I bought in Wyoming 30 years ago, the silk was a bit thicker otherwise you'd think it was the same scarf. Uses: running, hiking, cycling and clothing, anytime you want to keep your neck warm, and when it gets hot, it wicks away moisture. The new microfibers and Coolmax can't keep up. I wear it while hiking/hunting in the mountains of Colorado. It's perfect for those who can't get dressed on days when temperatures are freezing in the morning and hot in the afternoon. It's warm when you need it, then cool and dry in the midday sun. As for the quality of this device compared to others, I can't say anything since it's the only one I've bought, but I seem to like it a lot. I will probably buy another one.

This is unlike any silk I've ever touched. If it's silk, then it's thin taffeta or some kind of thin lining. Definitely not satin or chiffon. He's tough and prickly. I've tried softening it up with lanolin soap. It's unusable for me at the moment. I bought another scarf from Wyoming Trader that I absolutely love! This is my favorite scarf. I was looking for a fabric or scarf to put under my hat from the sun to protect my face from reflected light as I have freckles what means I'm on my way to sun damage. I love this rag! I use it as a scarf in the winter (okay, it's the Pacific Northwest, but it gets VERY cold here sometimes) and as a bandana under my helmet when I'm biking in the melanoma glow of the summer sun. It won't blow my mind, but it's elegantly functional and looks cute bouncing behind me as I bomb my favorite hills.
