This works great for what it is - an efficient way to add extra power outlets and eliminate the need for a separate USB charger. The charger itself provides enough power to charge most USB devices, and the ports themselves are well placed and easily connect to a variety of cables and devices. Thin polarity sockets, grounding, all that rot. The only problem with this block is that it can only be used in the bottom outlet if you want the top outlet to remain open. It's obvious from the design, but I can't help but think that a simple pivot pin on the back would allow for complete flexibility. This and the equipment shelf don't pair very well with most outlet faceplates. Otherwise it costs money.
