I guess I don't like it as much as everyone else. I think the smell is very artificial. I found it slightly nauseating. The ingredient list includes fragrances/flavors, not specific essential oils. The vegetable oil it contains is hydrogenated. Coconut oil itself isn't listed as an ingredient, although it says so on the label. Instead, there's sodium cocoyl isethionate, which is the sodium salt of an ester of coconut fatty acid and isethionic acid. It lathers well and is moderately moisturizing. The moisturizing factor is likely due to oatmeal, shea butter, and aloe vera. This is a big bar and should last a while. It is convenient that it is made for skin and hair. The price is fair / OK for the amount of soap if you like it.
