I bought Ryka women's hiking shoes a few years ago. They have held up well and have always been comfortable. Then I think my arch has dropped a bit because all my shoes have become "shorter"! I looked for replacements for these sneakers and looked at other brands that have had high reviews for years; I ordered a pair that felt like cardboard on my feet! Returned them and decided I would buy a new pair as I liked my previous Ryka shoes. And I did. And I'm happy with them. They are comfortable, not heavy and take me for a walk every morning.
