If you're like me, you probably bought Oculus Rift USB and HDMI extension cables without realizing that the extra length impacts the signal quality and bandwidth of the headset. If you're like me, you've learned that you should use an HDMI repeater for those longer cables. If you're anything like me, you've also discovered that your extension cord ends in a jack and really don't want to add another HDMI cable to the long extension cord you already made. This is a very niche product. for people with the same needs as me. I can confirm that I have been using this for almost 2 weeks with absolutely zero problems. No delays/lags, no signal quality degradation, no cuts to black screens. This is the result of an HDMI repeater, not this product. Just to confirm that this adapter does indeed work as expected with the Oculus Rift. I got 2 of these for the price and can't fault anything. Even if it only lasts a year, I have a backup. If they both die I'll go back and just buy another pair of these. I really wish they were cheaper per pack, but they're so cheap I can't even complain.
