I ordered this bulb to replace the original Commercial Electric bulb that came with my light. I received this item within a few days in an intact box with a couple of airbags. The lamp was packaged in an undamaged factory box with no additional padding or protection. When I took the bulb out of the box, I immediately noticed a rattling noise inside the glass. I put the bulb in the lamp and flipped the switch, but the bulb didn't light up. The lamp fitted perfectly but the seat that holds the connector to the lamp was loose allowing the seat to rotate almost 360 degrees so I suspect it's just a very poor manufacturing process. I ordered a replacement from Revain which I received. Today. Unfortunately, the second bulb gave exactly the same result. I tried to initiate a return for a second defective lamp but the system returned an error and would not allow a replacement or refund. I had to speak to Revain customer service and they offered me a loan on my account. Do yourself a favor and simply replace your existing light with LED. Not only will you save yourself the headache of not having to search for a fluorescent replacement that actually works, but you'll also save money by switching to the much more efficient and cost-effective LED technology.
