Sunlite FCL30 50K Fluorescent Circline: Powerful Lighting Solution with a Crisp 5000K White Glow Review

I bought several of these in overtime. The 5000K color temperature suits my needs (and is hard to come by) and I need a 9 inch lamp but would like to find a good alternative. The lamp dims too quickly and then burns out. lasts 10,000 hours as advertised.

The only place I could find a replacement for our lamp. Fast and inexpensive lamp. That's not 2700K, it's 3000K. Unfortunately I don't think you can get a warmer version. Apparently it costs more to manufacture, which is why several companies making this bulb have abandoned the 2700K. I wish they were honest in their description.

The ceiling fans I purchased came with "natural" colored lighting which made it very difficult to see each bedroom without additional lights. With them in the new Bright White colour, I can easily see every inch of the room. I switched one of the fans to use regular sized bulbs (you can end up with wired bulb ends if you remove the fluorescent ballast) but now I can switch back because they are so bright!

Got two new lights about a month ago. Installed the light and it looked weak - no brightness even after warming up. Light stopped working. Last week Replaced it with a second light. It also seems to be dim - let's see if it lasts a little longer. (Later) This light was also out of action for a couple of weeks - completely dark. far away. Decided to replace the light fixture with one Standard lamp to replace the light bulb.

The package (proper packaging) came VERY quickly after ordering. Installation was REALLY EASY. there before. I can't say anything about the durability yet, but I give it 5 stars. If he dies within the next year I will revise this review. ==== Well burned in less than 24 hours after installation. Then it died. The longevity rating goes up to 0 stars.

I couldn't find a bulb of this size in my local department store or hardware store which is a shame as they had sizes (8" and 12") were slightly cheaper than this here. This one is dimmer than the old one it replaced, although I like having a wider spectrum of daylight. If we weren't renting I'd replace the LED instead, given the many reviewers who say it won't last long. Hopefully this holds up for the rest of the tenancy!

Bought for my Hunter ceiling fan. The old lightbulb (16 years old) worked fine, but it wasn't bright enough to turn my living room into a work office. This light is very bright and I noticed some relief in my eyes from it. After 3 months the light started flashing and went out. He has a mind of his own! (lol!) To make sure it's not a ceiling fan, I installed an old lightbulb and it works with no issues. I still need a brighter bulb so I'll try another brand.

I ordered this bulb to replace the original Commercial Electric bulb that came with my light. I received this item within a few days in an intact box with a couple of airbags. The lamp was packaged in an undamaged factory box with no additional padding or protection. When I took the bulb out of the box, I immediately noticed a rattling noise inside the glass.
