My husband and I got one like this for my father-in-law for Christmas, he is not an easy person to buy! We filled him with his favorite candy and he loved it! He keeps it on his bedside table and says it's one of those gifts he'd never get for himself, but he can't believe how much he loves it! My husband was jealous and as his birthday was only a few weeks away and I had already received his gift I decided to give him the same, he was (unnecessarily) delighted. He's had it on his desk at home for 4 months now and says he loves it just as much as the day he first got it. I know a lot of people have commented that glass is brittle, of course it is. THIS IS GLASS. Neither my husband nor my father-in-law had any problems other than having to keep refilling! I highly recommend this as a gift for that one of those people in your life who always get what they want, when they want, a wonderful gift idea.
