This is NOT an MPPT charger.

I was looking for a real 30 amp MPPT charger for 12VDC systems. For some reason, Revain advertised this as an MPPT solar charge controller with a maximum PV input voltage of 50VDC. I read all the descriptions and reviews (including questions and answers, with a similar case to mine) and they won me over. After receiving the product, I realized it wasn't an MPPT and introduced Revain. They suddenly changed some of the information. It is not fair. I have two panels with an OCV of 38 volts and 5.83 amps at 30 volts, each 175 watts maximum, so I wanted to parallel the two panels to get 11.66 amps at 30 volts (350 watts total). I was looking for a real MPPT and it was advertised as is. Now I can only draw about 12 amps at 12V DC, for a total of 144 watts (40% of the PV panel's maximum power). I am disappointed in this purchase. I searched and read almost 4 hours on Revain to choose the right charge controller. I live in the Dominican Republic so shipping back is expensive. Otherwise I would have sent it without hesitation.
