I have had this charger for two years and it is my go to charger all the time. I do repairs on ATV's and SXS's. Almost every vehicle that comes in has battery problems. Recreation vehicles are used and then put away and then most of the time not touched until it's time to use them again. I needed a small battery charger for my motorhome, so I purchased the Tower Top Battery Charger. Because of an electrical issue on my motorhome, my starter battery was completely drained. I connected the Tower Top charger to the battery, and it diagnosed the battery and then began to restore the battery through several steps including diagnosis first and then two or three charging scenarios. The battery is fully charged like it was new.

It seems well-built and does a good job, but it is not a maintainer. If you just need to charge a battery it works excellent, but if you need it to maintain/float, it will NOT perform that task.Have to lower to one star; I bought it for a maintainer.

Shipped immediately and arrived early. The cables and cord are heavy duty and yet the charger itself is small and very light weight. Very handy. The clamps are strong. Plug in the charger and the display screen says "put on the clamps" and that's all you need to do. The battery starts charging. The display screen gives all pertinent information while the battery is charging. Adjustable if you choose.

It seems the developers of battery chargers believe that lighht weight is good.The contrary is the case. These charges should be heavy so these device sit perfectly still on the engine block of a car as an example.Only reason why I did not give 5 stars is the weight. It kind of bounces due to the cables connected. I wish it had more weight to stand still on my car's engine when I charge the battery.But great features, easy to use, sturdy and long enough cables, both ways.

Reviewers who think this charger won't work on the recondition mode on a really dead battery, take note. For this charger to activate a charging sequence, whether a normal charge or a recondition, it needs to sense a minimum voltage level. If the voltage is too low, it won't fire up. This is most likely in recondition mode when you have a really deeply discharged battery. Bought this to replace a VERY old charger my grandfather gave me that didn't seem to be working correctly any longer. This thing is light, works great, easy to use. I like the "repair" feature that seems to condition the battery. Have not used the jump start feature but it does have it. No complaints, does exactly what it says it should. recommend.

I am happy to have received this Battery Charger, as I have heard good things about it.I was surprised that the box arrived unsealed, but in good condition.It is being used as I type this, and it appears to be fully automatic.Meanwhile I shall read the instruction pamphlet that was included in the box.The grips are not the best, they slip some holds far too easily, but I managed to get it gripping enough to turn it on.

I do like that the charger is light weight and easy to use. I didn't have any problems at all in connecting it to my batteries. I am very satisfied overall as a purchase.

This item works great for the most part. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 for a couple reasons.1) It will not send ANY charge into a fully discharged battery (even if the battery still works), so you have to jump it before using this device on it.2) The charge level on it seems to bounce around a lot (it will tell me a battery that was fully discharged, got jumped, and then is charging with this is at 90% charged and a few hours later it will say it is 70% charged). Took me a while to figure out how to hook it up and use it. I had wanted to charge my battery but couldn't quite figure out how to do that. It said the battery was less than 1% and then bad. So instead I decided to use the engine start mode and got the car started no problem. I let it run for 30 min. Then shut it off. Works great on my RV AGM batteries.my old battery charger would not bring back one of my older dead AGM Blue top battery.I used my new battery charger repair and charge function and it's now working at full charge.not sure how long, this had been new and went dead quickly. But the charger worked.

I bought this unit on the advice of Scotty Kilmer, who is a an auto mechanic's auto mechanic. I bought this due to its desulfating abilities, and after one test, I will admit it works for that, at the very least. Worked great. Fixed my battery that was drained after sitting for weeks and weeks. Now it is like new. Gonna use the trickle charge a bit more often to avoid a dead battery.

I like that has manual mode and automatic. It recognize the type of battery quickly trickle charged properly and I'm looking forward to playing with it some more. I haven't had a very long only used it twice but so far so good

During the pandemic, my plugin Clarity is seating idle in the garage for months. The battery is draining way faster on the Clarity than cars run on gasoline. The trunk can't be popped open, and the brake can't be released. The jump cable is not long enough for me to jump my car since the car was headed in. The positive clamp melted even worse. If left charging/maintaining for hours, this is the result. Metai/copper clamps need to be used to avoid overheated plastic.
