My previous battery charger died.I got this one and was reluctant until I used it.After I used it I fell in love.It has 4 modes.First mode lets you select what amp you want:2A Trickle5A Medium10A Extra25A HeavyThen it has "Boost" mode which I can verify it works even on with a 2015 Toyota Priuswhose aux battery hit below 4.8 volts. It said wait 120 seconds and the start.Timer counted down and then, yes, my Prius started.This charger has a "auto" charge feature and a "repair" mode which I feel might work onfringe battery conditions. Trust me on this however . if your battery is low and has been lowfor some time and it is unhealthy and maybe subjected to cold weather . it may be dead.This charger will not bring back to life a dead battery.
