Review on Pelican 1520 Camera Case With Foam in Desert Tan Color by Julian Davidson

I have the orange color (which I love) and I use it to lug radio and RC airplane gear back and forth to the airport. It has everything I needed and I am very happy with its ability to protect my gear. It's stable when it's on hinges, it doesn't wobble either. The foam was easy to work with once figuring out item placement. I made half-size "steps" in the foam by removing the foam where I needed a reduced depth and trimming it to the correct height with an electric knife. The only thing I don't like about the case is the amount of force required to engage the latches. Opening is normal, but closing requires a lot of force and produces a very loud click when it latches.
